Calculate your K/D and KDA from kills, deaths and assists, then see exactly how many kills it takes to reach a target ratio at your current form.
K/D is total kills divided by total deaths, a cumulative average across every game you have played. Because the denominator only grows, an established K/D resists change: raising it takes far more kills than the same improvement did early on.

| 0.75 to 1.0 | Close to even. Common while learning a map pool or a new role. |
| 1.0 | You trade one for one across your whole history. |
| 1.0 to 1.5 | Consistently positive. Typical of an experienced ranked player. |
| 1.5 to 2.0 | Strong. Usually a player with a settled sensitivity and set routines. |
| Above 2.0 | Two kills per death sustained over a career, which is uncommon outside smurfing or a narrow role. |
Role matters more than the number. An entry fragger who takes the first duel every round carries risk a teammate who trades behind them does not, and the scoreboard does not say so.
Formula
K/D = kills ÷ deaths, and kills to reach a target = target × (deaths + future deaths) − killskills = career kills, the numerator of the ratio
deaths = career deaths, the denominator that only ever grows
target = the K/D you want to reach
future deaths = how many more times you expect to die while getting there
Worked Example
1,200 kills and 1,000 deaths, aiming for a 1.5 K/D
Did you know? A K/D resists change as it ages, because it averages every game you have ever played. With 10,000 deaths behind you, moving from 1.00 to 1.10 takes 1,000 net kills. The same run that lifted your ratio in your first week barely registers a year in, which is why recent-form stats describe your current play better than a career ratio does.
